I was born and grew up in Northern California but have spent the last 11 years in the southwest, New Mexico and Colorado. In my work I try to engage children and families where they are in lifes journey to support them in finding relief from whatever symptoms and problems seem to be in their way.

I have worked with youth and families since I was in high school including 17 years in early childhood education; working in school settings; guiding youth and families in the outdoors; and providing remote telehealth particularly to students who weren't able to attend school.

    I recently lost my father and it would be a gift to sit down to one last meal with him. Although I have a thousand questions the dinner would be more about time spent in his presence with his spirit.

    That is really a tie between visiting my maternal grandfathers home and family burial spot in Hiroshima prefecture in Japan and the birth of my first son where I got to hold him.
