⭐ About Ruth

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker originally from the Bay Area but currently soaking up the sunnier days in Orange County. I have worked in school and community settings for over six years with kids and adolescents addressing ADHD, trauma, anxiety, and depression. My passions are meeting families where they are and approaching issues with a trauma-focused, cultural lens.

🙂 Style

  • Compassionate, Patient, Creative.

💬 Why did you become a therapist for kids and families?

I knew I always wanted to work with kids and families since my summers volunteering with indigenous communities in Costa Rica. I believe in partnering with families, harnessing and developing strengths they have to overcome barriers for change. The most magical moments as a therapist are providing the tools and space for children to grow and watching them thrive.
